Faberge Flower WIP

January 09, 2012

EDIT: You can buy a limited edition print signed and numbered by me here.

I've been sick for the better part of year... a fortnight I mean. But, while I was laid up and not doing much I did manage to squeeze out one drawing in between nose blowings. I can't really recall what I was doing or thinking during this, so I'm just gonna tell you that this was done with India Ink and I had a lot of fun doing it because it's the only thing that made me forget just how ill I was, that and a lot of Advil Sinus with that awesome stuff in it that makes you not feel your face.

Anyway here is a progression of the drawing as it came along. I did remember to take a few pics of it while drawing for documenting purposes because I think I like seeing the progression more than anyone else. Makes me remember.

India Ink on Bristol Paper... Vellum... not smooth.
